DO NOT GO THERE!I've had a car inspected before purchasing it. They charged me $130 and told me it was "in excellent condition, not a single thing needs attention". I bought the car and drove it home to Victoria (17km away). Two days later, as I'm driving in the city, the engine shuts off while driving and the car wasn't starting for a few hours. Canadian tire refuse to take responsibility, saying something must have happened after the inspection. The manager of the shop actually told me that since I made it home fine after leaving them it means nothing was wrong with it. So I guess that's what their word and work are worth for- 17km.Save yourself the money, and take your car elsewhere.
I usually find whatever I am looking for. I find staff pleasant and helpful if any can be found. Definitely not staffed as it used to be 5yrs ago. Also why would the garden section outside be closed at 5pm when the store is open until 9pm?? It's summertime with longer days and lots of folks are needing plants etc.
People were friendly, puppy dogs were well behaved. And the staff help me find what I was looking for. When they could not help me they found someone that could. That's good service you know!
Great deals, but I can never find a staff member to unlock something.... Always spend more time looking for staff than I do my purchase.
Above and beyond in service and pricing. They recouped a little when they changed my coolant cause it didn't make an iota of difference to my overheating problem when driving up mountains. BUT they DID say they were guessing at the solution and to come back if it didn't solve the problem. I just didn't want to spend any more money.Prices and service were otherwise excellent though so I'd still happily recommend them. They saved me a LOT money by fixing a couple of problems I wasn't aware of for free. For example my hood latch was malfunctioning and they threw in a cheap fix when they changed my oil and advised against spending unnecessary money on a whole seasonal change package.AND they moved a part for the electronic Windows around so that it won't work reliably from the drivers seat console but works just fine on the window affected. That saved me about $500 so I am VERY GRATEFUL .All of them were charming and helpful and I was able to make appointments the next day for everything. So I'm giving them full marks. It's wonderful to have mechanics and a garage you can TRUST.
